I have a passion for timber but so much of what is made to today has to be sustainable. The past few centuries churned up beautiful timbers without a real care for its longevity. Slow growing woods will never meet the demands of modern day manufacturing so why not make the most of what we already have?

I hope by reusing unloved pieces and other reclaimed timbers I can create fresh new products that give new life to the magnificent trees they came from. Plus, it gives an extra story to tell about the art work it surrounds.

I've worked as a framer off and on for over 20 years and I have never been satisfied by the frames on offer. Some shops can have walls and walls of mouldings but not one I'm looking for. So I decided to make my own. The range I have designed is simple but it suits box frames, museum mounts and floating. Careful detailing in the spacing, joinery and choice of wood compliment the piece without detracting from it. Tiny details are part of the joy of a custom frame not to mention the satisfaction of seeing a newly framed work for the first time.

You'll find me at home in Norfolk but I will gladly come to you where ever you are if you have a collection you need framing. The range is adaptable to all kinds of artworks and creates a wonderfully succinct feel to the home.
